Intel Llama Mountain
Photography by Doug Evans http://www.evansphoto.com/ Intel showcased world’s first 14nm fanless mobile PC reference design at Computex 2014 in Taipei. Dubbed as Llama Mountain, the tablet is based on the company’s upcoming Broadwell processor and is runs on Windows 8.1. The device boasts of a 12.5-inch screen that is 7.2mm thin and weighs 670 grams. This means that the device is thinner than the iPad Air which is 7.5 millimeters thick. It includes a media dock that provides additional cooling for a burst of performance. Intel says that the design is based on Intel’s next-generation Broadwell processors that will be in market later this year.
